Dr. Andreas Bänziger, cofounder and partner of MedWork AG (www.medwork.ch), graduated from the University of Zurich, Switzerland with a degree in medicine and post doctoral studies.
He specialized as an orthopedic surgeon FMH.
Thereafter, he joined a leading manufacturer of medical devices in Switzerland where he held various management positions and finally became Executive Vice President for a business unit. From 1999 to 2001 he was CEO of a private Swiss biotech company. In 2002 he became CEO and board member of HMT Holding and was part of the MBO of the HMT group. Furthermore, he was involved in the merger with the HealthTronics group in 2004, where he served as a director.
